The discovery of fire and the invention of the wheel are small potatoes compared to discovering that 'attitude' really is everything.  

The idea that someone with an optimistic 'attitude' will bring about greater health, wealth and well-being than someone with a pessimistic/negative, worrisome state of mind has been kicking around forever. But have you taken it seriously? Have you thought it through?

If it turns out that our attitude really does determine the ideas we have, the opportunities we are aware of and our well-being, then, indeed, 'attitude IS everything'. 

The sooner we figure out that strategies for improving a lousy job, relationship or situation without first improving the 'attitude' that brought about something lousy in the first place, the better. Otherwise, it will be just changing one lousy something or other for another lousy something or other.

Perhaps, even with your knowledge of positive thinking philosophies and your attempt to look at the bright side of life, you have yet to connect the dots and investigate the clues for fully understanding the enormous scope of your natural ability to bring about more of the good life, regardless of circumstances. 

Just as there is an advantage when understanding that water boils at 212 degrees Fahrenheit and freezes at 32 degrees, just like there is an advantage understanding the principles of gravity and electricity, there is an awesome, life-enriching advantage when understanding the nature of an optimistic attitude. That's where your power is, understanding.

The degree to which an open-minded, optimistic attitude has a way of overcoming seeming difficulties, regardless of circumstances, is for you to discover. If 'all of the time' is a bit much to consider, how about 'more of the time'? That works. 

The Optimism Factor is not about changing the ills of the world. Although, what if......, well, that's another book. The Optimism Factor is about you, only you and your perception of your Self.

Whatever the something or other is, in your personal or professional life,  that you are unable to think of with an optimistic, positive outlook,  don't rack your brain. Let it be. There is nothing you have to do to reveal greater options and solutions, regardless of circumstances. Only something more about your Self you need to realize, to understand. The details will take care of themselves. The details always take care of themselves.

Whatever your skepticism might be about this 'attitude is everything!' thing, this is for sure; the phenomenon of 'optimism' deserves your thoughtful  investigation.

INVESTIGATE THIS:      

 

No one can be influenced/hypnotized to accept any idea/suggestion that is against their moral and ethical standards and steadfast beliefs. Therefore, all hypnosis is self-hypnosis.

 

The chances are you have already established in your mind attitudes about life and life's various circumstances.

You've already made up your mind about what your point of view, regarding anything, is.

You've already made up you mind about how helpless or how empowered you believe you are.

In a sense, you've been conditioned, programmed, indeed......hypnotized into believing ideas that make up your attitude toward your Self and life as it unfolds. You've been influenced in your thinking and behavior by family, friends, environment, culture, media, others. Your behavior is an expression of your attitude.

 

        

 

 Although we cannot be hypnotized, influenced by ideas/suggestions that go against our moral and ethical standards and beliefs, we can, though, be influenced/hypnotized by the frequency we are exposed to what we consider to be  acceptable, reasonable ideas, suggestions and the behavior of others.

We may not think of ourselves as being hypnotized. Yet, when we are impatient, judgmental, mean spirited, short tempered, insecure, narrow-minded, lacking confidence, pessimistic, limited and fearful in our approach to life, successful hypnosis is at work. 

We unconsciously take on the ways of others we are exposed to. We are a mish-mash of many impressions, many contradictions. All affecting our attitude toward life's various and sundry circumstances.

The point is; any doubt, critical judgment, fear or limitation you have about your Self is really the expressed point of view of others, that you picked up, accepted as reasonable, and actualized as your point of view. Subtle as any successful hypnotic suggestion/ad campaign. You bought it hook, line and thinker.

The Optimism Factor is about re-thinking some erroneous, narrow-minded, inauthentic, self-limiting ideas/suggestions picked up  from others,   influenced/hypnotized into believing were true, behaved as if they were true,   and never bothered to reconsider its validity or consequences .

Upon coming to a less-limiting conclusion about your Self you successfully de-hypnotize your Self from habitually reinforcing limiting and frustrating patterns that sabotage you from greater joy and well-being.  As you understand that you are a creature of illogic reasoning, your avenue of thought becomes  more open, less restrictive than before. Your behavior is a reflection of your expanded avenue of thought.

To not understand that any doubt, fear or limitation you have about your Self is a hypnotically induced habit of behaving as if you are less than adequate in some way, just doing its thing like any habit, like any successful hypnotic suggestion, is the mother of all frustrations. 

To not know and understand with certainty that you are greater in your natural ability than any idea/suggestion of limitation, is to know with certainty that you are not greater in your natural ability than any idea/suggestion  of limitation. That which you know with certainty has a way of revealing itself as your experiences. The details will take care of themselves. 

You were not born with a built-in outlook on life. You were not born with an accent.  You were not born with a political affiliation. You were not born with prejudices toward certain groups of people or sports teams. You were not born with ideas that limit you in any way. You were not born with an attitude toward your Self. Your environment and culture mold your Self-identity, your behavior, your accent, your prejudices, your points of view.

If you are not used to thinking for yourself, then, you are a channel for the thoughts and opinions of others. If you do not logically expose ideas that limit you as someone else's perception picked up by you, they continue to limit you as if they are you, rather than an erroneous concept of you. Ideas that limit you depend upon your unawareness, your lack of understanding, your narrow-mindedness, your lack of curiosity for its very existence.

The clues are all there for discovering just how powerful you are. The clues are all there for successfully de-hypnotizing yourself from suggestions and ideas that do not serve you well. Just connect the dots.

Your perception is your attitude, your sense of Self perceiving everything, interpreting everything. Your perception, your interpretation, is the sum total of your narrow-minded and/or open-minded point of view, opinion, about anything, picked up along life's way.

Everyone agrees that an optimistic, hopeful, confident attitude will bring more positive life experiences than a pessimistic, doom-and gloom attitude. Everyone agrees!

Doctors agree that an optimistic, hopeful state of mind supports the immune system and the healing and recovery process more than a worrisome, fearful, doubtful, panicky state of mind. That means, when you go to a doctor, it is really your 'attitude' that is going to the doctor using your body. The more optimistic your 'attitude', the more you are a cooperative candidate for healing and recovery than if you were a hypnotized, pessimistic worry wart.

False ideas about your Self cause anxiety. Anxiety is vulnerable to enlightened Self-awareness. I'm just sayin'.

Therapists agree that an optimistic patient is more open for healthy psychological change than patients who doubt things will ever improve. That means, just by having a more optimistic mental attitude than usual, a patient will be more receptive to insights and breakthroughs than hypnotized pessimists.

Business professionals agree that an optimistic, confident person will have more creative, more inspired, more profitable ideas than someone who feels insecure and inadequate. That means, optimistic, confident individuals are a more valuable asset to business and industry than narrow-minded employees with a 'victim' mind-set.

Optimists are first choices for first-class positions and first-class success, regardless of economic conditions, regardless of competition, regardless of anything. Pessimists are left out and complain about being left out.

Hypnotized pessimists habitually blame food and  circumstances for their recurring struggle and strain. Something picked up from others, from the media.
 
The very profitable and mostly ineffective weight loss industry depend upon your helpless attitude toward food and your Self to keep them in business. It's not you that goes on a diet, it's your 'attitude' that is in play.
 
Ever know anyone able to eat lots of whatever they wanted and never gain an ounce? Metabolism you say? Whatever.

It's not you that finds yourself in the midst of an economic recession or in boom times. It's your 'attitude' wrapped up in your mind and body that's in the midst of an economic recession or in boom times.

An (open-minded) optimist will prosper and thrive no matter how 'bad' things are. Know anyone like that? 

 A (narrow-minded) pessimist will struggle, no matter how 'good' things are. Know anyone like that?

Insightfulness
........an instance of apprehending the true nature of a thing 
through intuitive understanding:

As you  become  familiar with ideas that logically contradict limiting notions about your Self, as you are mindful of the stunning nature of an optimistic attitude, nothing is ever the same.   

If you are not aware that any sense of inadequacy, any lack of confidence, is really the mind-set of others, taken on by you, you are locked in to defining and perceiving your Self as powerless/limited somehow about something or other. Just like the person(s) you picked up the habit from. Remember, you were not born with a limited Self-perception.

When your limiting Self-perception, in regards to anything, is challenged and realized as a habit and not a permanent aspect of your Self, everything changes. A new and open direction of thought outside perceived limitations takes place, revealing ideas and opportunities previously held hostage by a limiting Self concept.

There is nothing you have to do. The details will take care of themselves. Much like details have a way of taking care of themselves when limiting Self-perceptions are not challenged and reconsidered.  Self-awareness/ understanding/reason, does it.

Does it matter who or what the circumstances were that impacted your sense of Self in a less than empowering way?  It matters only if it matters. It's all a matter of perception.  

What does matter, for sure, is understanding that perceptions that limit you in any way are  vulnerable when thoughtfully exposed as mis-conceptions, illusions about your Self, rather than a permanent aspect of your Self.

The direction of your expanded Self-awareness (curious open-mind) reveals greater insight and self-confidence not available to a stagnant, limited Self-concept. Your behavior expresses your Self-awareness.

Mindfulness
It's not you that is on a diet or attends a money/success workshop, or is looking for a job, or goes to work, or is in a relationship, or desires a relationship, or is a patient. It's your 'attitude' dressed up as you, doing whatever you do,
 
The ease or difficulty in achieving satisfaction from whatever you are doing is decided by your attitude, your point of view, not circumstances. 
 
The way you feel about anything is an energy that reveals your attitude. You can only feel helpless, like a victim, if you have been influenced/hypnotized to have a victim-hood mind-set.
 
A victim mind-set always finds someone or something to feel victimized by, and is not open to ideas outside of a victim-hood habit. Know anyone like that?

 If you are sure you are a victim of someone or something, sure you are inadequate to manage some difficulty or other, that's not you. You are hypnotized, expressing a habit picked up from someone or something. Period! You've been duped.

Pessimists complain about getting little or no value, no matter what they do. Know anyone like that?
 
An optimist realizes great value, meaning and satisfaction, whatever they do. Know anyone like that?

It's not you that gets laid off or fired. It's your attitude that gets laid-off or fired. An optimist, more than likely, confidently and easily, finds a better position. Even if it means innovating something different, something that never was before. Even if it means working out of your garage. Or something like that.

If you insist there are no positive creative options beyond your perception of discord about something or other, you're wearing blinders. A way of thinking, a state of mind, an attitude picked up from others. ZAP! you are hypnotized. 

That means, any strategy for improving a sense of powerlessness about something or other, without improving the 'attitude' that brought about something to feel powerless about, will be futile.

Optimists don't get pushed out of shape the way pessimists do when obstacles appear because optimists think that no obstacle is insurmountable. Thereby overcoming obstacles to their joy and success pessimists continue to be stymied by. Just something picked up from someone or something along life's way or thought out for themselves.

Optimists are also known as;  leaders, managers, owners, visionaries, successful.

Optimists focus on living each moment to the fullest because they realize that it's not how long one lives that counts but rather the quality of life one lives that counts. Just something picked up from someone or something along life's way or thought out for themselves.

Optimists get energized and empowered looking for opportunities to be supportive, encouraging and optimistic to others, while pessimists spread their 'gloom and doom', limitation thing. Just something picked up and accepted  from someone or something along life's way.

Yes, optimists are priority choices for business and industry, and personal relationships. Who wants a narrow-minded thought miser?

A 'luck' mind-set is a victim mind-set. A 'luck' mind-set is a learned hand-me-down superstition that implies there is 'good luck', 'bad luck'.....and 'things just happen'.

It's not 'luck' that watermelon seeds become watermelons, and not cashew nuts. It's no accident that April showers bring May flowers or that ulcers and related dis-eases come from stress. Stress being the inability to perceive something or other in a confident and empowered way.

ONE MORE TIME:
To just consider the improbability of a 'luck' factor, about anything, automatically frees you to curiously explore your Self in a more creative and a more open-minded manner..

Things don't just happen

Until you get that things 'don't just happen', you are not inclined to investigate, discover, challenge and change what 'causes' whatever is going on in your life that is less than you want. So then, accepting less than what you want reinforces a habit of 'getting less than what you want.' "I'm just unlucky........... I guess."

Until you get that things 'don't just happen', you are not inclined to investigate and discover the 'cause' to your joys and fulfillment. Important information for bringing about more joy and more fulfillment. Otherwise it's, "I'm just a little lucky......I guess."

As you understand that things 'don't just happen', the energy of your understanding, cannot help but be open to the greater more-ness of your Self that already is, awaiting your understanding.

Yup, like Einstein said, it's a Cause and Effect thing.

Pop Quiz 
 
Problem:  A Flood. 
Bathtub is overflowing ~ Water is coming in faster than it is draining.
What to do? 
a - Mop up forever. 
    b - Turn the faucet off.

Surely turning the faucet off is a no-brainer. A perfect example of 'Cause and Effect'. The 'cause' is the rushing water, the 'effect' is the flood. The flood didn't just happen.

Stopping the rushing water by turning the faucet off is the new 'cause', and the 'effect', the flood, is changed automatically. Get it? 
 
Then get this: 
The only reason for recurring lack,  limitation, frustration, mopping up all the time, getting nowhere about your job, career, relationship, weight, finances, whatever, is; not because of circumstances, even though it may seem that way, but because you have not yet discovered the real 'cause'  to your dismay. Otherwise you would most likely choose to change that 'cause', and dismay, like the flood, would be history. Sounds too simplistic? You want complicated? This is not the place.

To investigate and discover what really causes your joys and disappointments, your successes and struggles, frees you to curiously explore aspects of your Self that are beyond hypnotized limitations.

A 'Cause' investigator rides the energy, yes.....ENERGY, of expanded awareness to greatness. Greatness? Yes! Where do you think all great discoveries, inventions, and life-changing breakthroughs come from, chopped liver?  Optimism, open-mindedness, curiosity, is alive and kicking..

A 'Cause' Investigator does not accept things as they are but as they can be.

Before someone came up with the internal combustion engine there was the horse and buggy.

Before someone came up with the idea of the elevator there were only stairs.

An open and curious mind sees and knows things
beyond  a narrow-minded sense of Self~

Until you are totally convinced that circumstances appearing limiting do not determine quality of life, you are convinced, because of your learned hypnotic conditioning, picked up from others, that the reason for not realizing greater peace of mind, greater joy and success is because of some circumstance or other, some person or other, some something or other, that holds you back.

 Your unique purpose for being is not dependent upon appearances. Unless of course, because of hypnotic conditioning, you perceive it be.

Some people are literally hypnotized to believe there is no adversity they cannot overcome. An impression picked up from someone or something. Perhaps from a teacher, uncle, coach or parent, a song, a poem or line from a book, or from some out of the park cathartic intuitive insight.

 
It's usually a pessimist that judges an optimist of not being realistic.
Give me a break!

Some people are literally hypnotized to believe they are limited somehow because of something or other. It's the economy. It's the weather. It's the competition. It's the luck of the draw. It's Friday the 13th. It's I'm not able. Something picked up from someone or something that was convincing at the time. Habit.

Who is to say what your limitations are, if not you? Who is to say what your state of mind is? You perceive yourself as being limited, stuck, inadequate to deal with something or other, not because you are limited, not because you were born that way, and not because of limiting appearing circumstances. Somewhere along the line your immature intellect  was  susceptible and influenced by someone or something to perceive yourself in some inadequate way. 

Your attitude reveals your Self-perception, your Self-identity, the way you think and feel about your Self.  No one is born with a limited Self-perception. Appearances can be deceiving.

It didn't matter that it seemed impossible or unlikely for a blind person to excel in a particular field, or for a one armed person to surfboard, or for someone born with no limbs to successfully compete in wrestling matches. Cause and effect. The effect tells you what the cause would have to be. Nothing just happens. An attitude of self-assurance trumps conditions.

Appearances didn't matter to Stephen Hawking, considered the Einstein of his day. Or Helen Keller, without sight or hearing, continues to inspire the world with her uplifting attitude. Cause and effect.

Appearances didn't matter to Steve Jobs. His open-mind, his vision, his focus, was on what could be, not on what was. His focus was on his vision, not on the appearance of the odds against his vision, not on the approval of others. Cause and Effect.

Be careful of advice from others that you know.
They cannot see your vision 'cause they're watchin' their own show.

There is a law of nature to be considered. Newton's Third Law of Motion. The natural law discovered by Sir Isaac Newton.----For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. That's the law. It applies to rocket science as well as human behavior.

Don't know the law? Doesn't matter. Natural laws of nature don't care whether you are aware of them or not. You struggle more than necessary when you are unaware of Cause and Effect..

Know about the law of 'Cause and Effect' and you are not fooled, discouraged or influenced by limiting appearances.

Think about it. Your 'attitude' is the Cause that determines how you will react to situations, not the situation itself.  Your expanded awareness reveals expanded possibilities blocked by the narrow-minded. .

When you are not aware of a way to overcome a disturbance to your peace of mind, it does not mean there is not a way. It just means you are not aware of a way. Your open-minded attitude knows more than a narrow-minded attitude.

Your state of mind, your attitude, is a filter through which everything is uniquely experienced.

The energy, the 'feelings' of an optimistic outlook on life reveals creative ideas and opportunities unavailable to a narrow-minded, pessimistic state of mind. Cause and Effect just doing its thing.

When you criticize, bitch, moan and complain about whatever or whomever you are criticizing, bitching, moaning or complaining about, you think it's about a situation or person. An attitude anchored in a pessimistic, worrisome state of mind triggers a feeling that is the attitude as a feeling. Feelings don't just come from nowhere. Feelings of stress, anxiety, helplessness, come from a narrow-minded point of view/attitude assessing a situation from a hypnotized, narrow-minded perception. Feelings are attitudes as feelings.

Attempting to purge stressful feelings with 'positive thoughts' that you do not really believe, only drive those feelings underground. And because you "cannot fool Mother Nature" they continue to operate subversively, unconsciously. 

For example, if you repeatedly declare, 
"I AM FINANCIALLY ABUNDANT AND PROSPEROUS"......and you really think and feel 'that's a lot of bull' (because you are struggling to pay your bills) only reinforces the pessimistic attitude that brings about struggle. Feelings are a dead give-away for revealing your attitude. So its not about what you declare, it's about how you feel about what you declare. It's the certainty, the energy, of your attitude that does all the declaring, regardless of the words you use.

When you declare, "I AM MY IDEAL WEIGHT"........and you really think and feel "Sure" (sarcastically) only reinforces your attitude.

As you break the pessimistic attitudinal habit of reinforcing limiting ideas and concepts about your Self, stressful/irritating/frustrating feelings will change on their own,  without trying. An optimistic state of mind reveals a way for replacing struggle and difficulty with graceful goal achievement.

WHAT? Yes. As you break the attitudinal habit of identifying with limiting  concepts about your Self, the negative/irritating/frustrating feelings will disappear without you even trying. They have no basis for being. Your identification with the truth of your nature takes care of the details. Connect the dots.

Just like there are endless oak trees within the innate potential of one acorn, you too have, unquestionably, innate Potential of an endless nature. 

Just as the acorn is an expression of whatever the oak tree it came from is, you surely are an expression of whatever the infinite something is that you are of.  

Think about it. There are no limits to the thoughts you have the Potential to think. There is no idea you cannot have. There are no limits to your mind's creativity.  How can you not have innate unlimited Potential, huh? Who is to say what the extent of your Potential is, if not you, huh?  Reason is your ally.

Indeed, as powerful as your thoughts are there is something more powerful. You, the thinker of thoughts. 

Great ideas, great discoveries, great inventions, great contributions to humankind, are the result of thinking beyond learned, worldly, finite conditioning. To access your indisputable, innate, endless, creative Potential in greater ways is your reason for being. How can that not be, huh? 

Even though you may not have realized the full measure of your innate Potential somewhere in your life doesn't mean you do not have the Potential, the ability to access whatever creativity is necessary to transform worry and concern into greater peace of mind, and to transform lack and limitation into plenty. It just means you have yet to fully understand the phenomenon of 'attitude' and your power to break habits that sabotage your innate/natural ability to overcome fear and limitation.

It's your attitude formed by what you believe God is or isn't that becomes what God is or is not for you. Not everyone has the same beliefs or attitude about what God is or is not., even within the same religion. We pick up our beliefs, our attitude about God, from others or from our own conscious decisions.

If we are supposed to be made in the image and likeness of God, OMG, think of the possibilities. What's not to be optimistic about?

God, surely is beyond mere mortal understanding. Otherwise we would all be of one understanding, like understanding gravity. Yet God must be behind the undeniable law of ‘Cause and Effect’; For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. It's up to a thinking individual to take it from there.

Not believing in God is not an issue. You don't have to believe in God to believe in Cause and Effect. You don't have to believe in God to believe in gravity. You don't have to believe in God to believe in the nature of your Self.

To investigate the essence of a drop of ocean water will tell you everything about the ocean it is part of. To investigate the nature of your Self will tell you something about the wonder you are of.

So where does prayer come in?
Your 'attitude' about your prayer is the prayer, not what you are praying for.

It's the lies you were hypnotized with that sabotage you from experiencing greater success, joy and fulfillment, not someone or something. At the time you were being hypnotized with lies you didn't know the lies to be lies.

Your immature childhood intellect thought the lies were true. The lies of other people habitually believing and complaining about how they were victims of people and circumstances became your lies. You bought the lies.........hook, line and thinker!

Part I

In your own well-lit living room, sitting room, dining room, bedroom  or furnished office,  deliberately look for, and make a mental note of, anything in in the room that is the color red.

Carefully look around the room. Make a mental note of anything red. Large, small or insignificant, (ex: chair, drapes, books, trimming.) DO IT NOW!

When you are pretty sure you have spotted most, if any, of the red stuff, go to Part II for further instructions. 

Part II

Now that you have scanned the room looking for the color red, when I give you the signal, close your eyes and for about ten seconds try to remember, as best you can, anything in the room than is the color blue.  CLOSE YOUR EYES NOW FOR TEN SECONDS.

After about ten seconds look around the room and see if you missed anything blue. 

There may have been something blue starring you in the face. Except you don't remember seeing it because you were not looking for blue. You were looking for red.

Because your assignment, your focus, was to look for the color red, like a laser you were drawn to the color red, filtering out anything you were not looking for.

That's how the mind works. Good to know.

It's kinda like driving through an area for the first time, looking for a gas station. You dismiss from your awareness restaurants, cleaners, liquor stores, tailor shops, clothing stores, and anything else you were not looking for. Ultimately zeroing in on a gas station.

It's kinda like; when you buy a new car, and suddenly are super aware of the same model car on the road wherever you are.

That which is upper-most in your mind (Cause/Focus) reveals that which is upper-most in your mind (Effect).

 

 
 
Almost magicallyyou extract from the limitless possibilities of each day experiences that reveal whatever thoughts of certainty you habitually focus on,  consciously and unconsciously. Except it's not magic at all. It's Cause and Effect.  What you focus on you bring on.

Optimists have a habit of focusing on ways to enrich life, regardless of  limiting outward appearances, regardless of the odds against success, regardless of the economy, the weather, the competition, or because of someone or something. Causing their mind to be drawn to what they were looking for. Just something picked up from someone or something along life's highway or rom some intuitive insight.
 
Pessimists have a habit of focusing on lies. Believing they are victims of something of other, someone or other. Believing they are less than they really are. Thereby filtering out greater life-fulfilling ideas and opportunities that optimists focus on and are drawn to.

The Power of Conscious Focusing

There is a process for learning to use a typing keyboard or play the piano. First, you train your fingers to make specific moves new to its experience. After a while it is no longer necessary to concentrate/focus your thinking on where to place your fingers. It becomes automatic. Without thinking, your fingers do what they were taught to do. You literally hypnotize yourself to place your fingers appropriately, without any conscious effort. You pick up speed with practice.

(Hence, all the repetition in The Optimism Factor.)

There is a similar process for learning to drive a car. Initially you concentrate/focus your thinking on; 
putting on your seat belt, 
starting, 
steering, 
shifting, 
accelerating,
slowing down, 
stopping, 
passing, 
parking, 
looking in the side view mirrors, 
looking in the rear view mirror, 
looking to your right, 
looking to your left, 
checking your speedometer, 
checking your gas gauge, 
watching ahead for signal changes,
 until, with practice, you pilot a car automatically. You unconsciously do everything you practiced  to do consciously. You literally hypnotize yourself to drive a car. I'm telling you, you're a regular Svengali. In a nice way.

It's like an off-duty hairdresser that, without conscious intention has a habit of noticing hair-do's of others more than an off-duty dentist who, without conscious intention, has a habit of noticing smiles more than an off-duty gardener who, without conscious intention, has a habit of noticing plants and flowers more than an off-duty plastic surgeon who, without conscious intention, has a habit of noticing breasts and noses more than a.......well, you get the point.

As you familiarize your Self with truthful, reasonable, believable self-empowering ideas that you do not have a habit of considering, it becomes a habit of knowing the truth. Your behavior reflects your pattern of thought.

There is no lie, no negativity, no pessimism, no matter how deep-rooted, that can long endure enough realization/understanding of the truth. How much is enough for you? I don't know. If you've come this far you are now more inclined than usual to be aware of ideas and opportunities that will benefit you in greater ways. How can that not be?

Repeating over and over again 'positive' affirmations, that you don't really believe, only reinforces dis-believing the 'positive' affirmations. While FREQUENT REALIZATION OF REASONABLE AND EASILY BELIEVABLE SELF-EMPOWERING TRUTHS reinforces your focus on your indisputable, innate, unlimited Potential. And what you have a habit of focusing on determines the ideas and opportunities you will easily be drawn to. Remember Insight/Outsight?

Don't try not to feel what you are feeling if the feelings are negative/irritating/worrisome. Those feelings depend upon immature logic for their very existence. As you consciously direct your mind to focus on truthful, easily believable, self-empowering ideas, feelings of greater confidence replace fear and inadequacy. Revealing more than before.

Feelings of greater confidence and a greater sense of adequacy depend upon you being so convinced thatYou are greater within your innate, unlimited, creative Potential than any idea of fear or limitation, that, without even trying, you automatically access more of your indisputable, innate, unlimited, creative nature. It just happens.  The details take care of themselves. Like always.

The only way you cannot be greater within your innate, unlimited, creative Potential than any idea of fear or limitation, is when your mind is made up, from someone else's mind,  that you are less than you really are. Remember, unless you  are familiar with the truth of your being, the pessimistic/negative lies you were hypnotized with will remain un-challenged and continue to exist through you as your attitude, your behavior, and the ideas and opportunities you are drawn to.
